I don't have enough credits to submit a print request. How can I solve this?

There are several ways to refill your print account, depending on your university, which are detailed from the main documentation page.

How can I produce a PDF document from my application X?

Most of the recent applications can produce PDF files. This option is generally available in the File -> Save as menu where the PDF format should be available. For MS Office, from version 2007 (with Service Pack 2 installed) on MS Windows and version 2004 on Mac OSX, you can export your documents in PDF format. See this help page.
For applications that do not have (yet) the possibility to export documents in PDF format, there are several free programs that enable to do so through virtual printers. The idea is to print the document to such virtual printer to produce the PDF file.
Note: be aware that some of those free software produce PDF files of very bad quality. We recommend to perform print tests on A4 or A3 paper with your local printer before submitting such files to our plotters.
If producing PDF files from your application is simply too difficult, check below what are the other formats accepted.

I can't produce a PDF file, what are the other formats accepted for printing?

When it is not possible for you to produce a PDF file, you can send us the original file and we'll try our best to print it. The best alternative is to submit a Postscript file. Otherwise, we have a number of software that can handle/open various file formats. However, in this case, we do not guarantee that the printed document will match exactly what you have prepared with your application (colours, layout, fonts etc.) and if there are problems for printing such document, no extra work and print tests will be made unless you have enabled the extra cost option (see the related documentation page and the conditions and prices page for more information).
Besides Postscript, accepted file formats can be all the image types (PNG, JPEG, TIFF etc.), MS Office PowerPoint or Word documents (MS Windows and Mac OSX), graphics programs (Adobe Photoshop, Canvas, AutoCAD etc.) or formats commonly found in the OpenSource community (OpenOffice, SVG, LaTeX etc.).
